Meet Danielle
Danielle received her Bachelors in Social Work from Azusa Pacific University and her Masters in Social Work from Colorado State University. Danielle has a passion for helping others tell their stories from a place of empowerment.
Danielle has worked in crisis services, inpatient and intensive day treatments, a trauma clinic, suicide recovery, and integrated care. She currently runs a successful mental health clinic in Colorado Springs, The Patterson Center for Resiliency LLC. In her clinical work, Danielle loves working with pediatric and adult clients who are overcoming trauma, attachment disorders, depression, women’s issues, LGBTQIA+ issues, and anxiety. Danielle believes in using a trauma-informed and attachment-based approach, incorporating trauma-informed yoga, art, CBT, DBT, sand tray, EMDR, and animal-assisted therapy with her golden retriever, Pippa. Danielle is EMDR-Certified and an approved Consultant.
Danielle also enjoys training and supervising interns to be great future therapists, both through her clinic and as a professor in University of Kentucky’s Masters of Social Work program. At home, Danielle has also been a foster parent to children from birth through 17 years old since 2018.
In her free time, Danielle loves to play with her dog, garden, kayak, exercise, take care of her chickens, and spend time with her friends and family. She also loves re-reading Harry Potter with a nice cuppa tea.
